Andrew Yee, cello, has been praised by Michael Kennedy of the London Telegraph as "spellbindingly virtuosic...remember that you heard [his] name here first". His many engagements include the Concert Hall, Terrace Theatre, and Millennium stages in the Kennedy Center of Washington D.C. Alice Tully Hall, The Spoleto Festival, Carnegie Hall, and other venues including solo performances of the Popper Hungarian Rhapsody, the Vivaldi Concerto for two cellos, and Dvorak Concerto. He has played in master classes and lessons for renowned artists such as Lynn Harrell, Zuill Bailey, Norman Fischer, Zara Nelsova, Gil Shaham, and Yo-Yo Ma. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Juilliard School, where he studied with Fred Sherry, Darrett Adkins, and Joel Krosnick.
