The Juilliard School is one of the world's most prestigious performing arts conservatories. The Pre-College Division gives Juilliard an important role in training the most talented young musicians at the highest musical standards.

Juilliard Pre-College Chamber Music encompasses about 65 groups annually, including strings, piano, harp, wind and brass groups in various combinations of instruments. Groups have weekly coachings with Pre-College faculty, and often meet on their own time
for additional work together.

Pre-College chamber groups frequently perform in major venues such as Alice Tully Hall, the Sharp Theater, Paul Hall and Morse Hall at the Juilliard School. Groups have also been presented in performances on NPR's "From the Top"; in association with the Lincoln Center Chamber
Music Society; and on the PBS television series "Live at Carnegie Hall: From the Top".
